Three tiers ship out of the box — Admin (full access), Manager (their team's pipeline + reports), Agent (their assigned chats only). On top of those you can build custom roles with granular permissions: who can see which pipeline, who can reassign, who can export data, who can delete. Permissions apply per workspace too, so a rep can be a Manager in one and an Agent in another.
Yes — workspaces are how you separate teams that shouldn't share data. Sales / Support / Renewals is the classic split, but agencies use one workspace per client, and franchises use one per outlet. Each workspace has its own pipeline, members, automations, and reports. Master admins can move between them; regular reps stay scoped to theirs.
You pick the metrics that matter — leads handled, conversion rate, average response time, deal value, or any custom KPI. The leaderboard updates live (within a minute) and displays the current week, month, or any custom period. Reps see their own rank to motivate; managers see the full board to coach.
Only if their role permits it. By default, agents see their own assigned chats only — anything else is invisible. Managers see their team's chats. Admins see everything. You can flip individual permissions per role: e.g. allow agents to see the LEAD record (for handoff) without exposing the chat history.
